Performance Incentive Plan [new addition]

A new incentive plan has been put into place that will have a maximum payout of 8.0% of the total Jazz and Classic Airline pilot salaries and wages, excluding overtime.

Hours of Work

75 credit hours per month guaranteed to a maximum of 85 [unchanged].

Paid Holidays

10 [unchanged].

Paid Vacation

10 days earned after 1 year; 3 after 4; 4 after 8; 5 after 18 and any pilot who has accrued 6 weeks in the 2002 vacation year will continue to earn 6 weeks of vacation for each year [unchanged].

Pension Plan

Defined Contribution Pension Plan for new employees: Employees hired after ratification will be enrolled in a new defined contribution pension plan. Employees with 1 years’ service will contribute 4.0% with an employer contribution of 4.0%; 2-3 years, 5.0%/5.0%; 4 years, 6.0%/6.0%; 5 years, 6.0%/7.0%; 6 years and more, 6.0%/8.0%.  The Defined Benefit Pension Plan is maintained for current pension plan members.

Early Retirement [new addition]: A minimum of 20 packages per year will be offered to employees based on seniority.  During the first year of the program, employees who are 50 years of age are over will be eligible, thereafter only employees who are 50 years of age and not yet 63 will qualify.  Payment will be based on 2 weeks of basic pay per year of service, maximum 52 weeks.
