This option allows you to select the language of the documents obtained in a search.
You can limit your search to French or English documents.
Example: If you choose the "French" option in the drop-down menu, only French documents will be retrieved in the search.
The "Current" option allows you to limit your search to the most recent collective agreements available.
The "Historical" option allows you to obtain all of the collective agreements related to your search.
Use this field to search for a keyword in the text of collective agreements.

Use this field when searching for collective agreements concerning a specific company.
For better results, limit your search to a main word in the company name.

Use these fields if you know the number of the collective agreement.
Collective agreements have seven-digit numbers. The first five digits are the identifier and the last two indicate the generation of the collective agreement.
To find a specific collective agreement, enter the first five digits in the "Agreement Number" field. You will obtain all available generations of that collective agreement.
If you want a specific generation, enter the last two digits of the collective agreement in the "Renewal Number" field.
To ensure that a specific word appears in your search results, enter the plus (+) symbol before this word. If you wish to expand your search to include several words, enter the plus (+) symbol before each of these words.
If you place a minus (-) sign before a word, it will not appear in your search results.
By placing an asterisk (*) after a word, your search for a word will retrieve the word, but with a variety of endings.
Example: Enter procedure* to find procedure and procedures.
To find an exact expression, put quotation marks around the "expression".
Because terms may vary from one collective agreement to another, use synonyms.
Examples:
All documents contain articles, such as the, a, an, etc. To improve your search results, it is better not to use articles.
Use of words with accent marks or special characters such as the cedilla (ç) in the "Search For", "Company", and "Union" fields limits the number of hits you will get. If searching for the French word durée, you will obtain hits containing the word durée.
If you do not enter words with accent marks or special characters, a search for the French word dure will retrieve all documents containing the words dure, durée, and durer, etc.
The search function makes no distinction between uppercase and lowercase letters.
